One of the thing that most impressed me about the convention was the great organisation. People from different countries were involved in that. Lots of things to do, various and amusing. I loved to know saints from all the countries and to see great examples in them. The Spirit was really good. I loved to gathered for the choir and also the Irish dance rehearsal. I was also invited to visit the bishop’s family and I passed very nice moments. I would like to partecipate to other european conventions. It was a magical experience.

My 2nd service convention in Ireland. What a joy. We served the members of the branch. I enjoyed visiting the branch presidents sons. We choose them on purpose to tell them how special they are. The combination of serving the branch and the public at the blarney castle was wonderful. Serving next to the branch members was amazing. I also loved getting introduced to the my grave app and doing that. I made new friends, met new people, was lifted up and am very much looking forwards to the next service convention. For me the service conventions fit my personality more than the all fun and play ones, so I am grateful that they are here.

I didn't think going to Ireland was realistic because of my economic situation, but my Father in Heaven knew I needed it and He made it possible. I hope that I helped those I met, but I don't think it's possible for me to have made as big a difference for others as the wonderful people of that area made on me. Listening to the example of faith and hope inspired me in a way that lives on with me in my heart as I try to make a greater difference in my local area. President Nelson taught us that we should expect miracles and the leaders of Cork do. They will see miracles and because of their contagious faith strengthening mine, I know their faith will continually influence further miracles in my area and the area's of everyone who was in attendance. Amongst the many tender experiences I had in Ireland, one of the greatest was a simple conversation with an active member by the name of Bill. He was so eager to share his sincere love of the Savior and it pierced me to the core. He recited the words of one of his favourite hymns, Jesus The Very Thought of Thee, and I could feel in my heart a portion of what it meant to him. I took a recording of his reciting and listening to the poetic prayer of his heart still fills me with the spirit I felt when I was in Cork, a spirit of joy in Christ. For a long time, I've had a strong testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ, but that testimony has been strengthened when together with the Irish members I mingled, bore burdens, laughed, mourned, comforted, and loved together. I saw Mosiah 18:8-9 in action and I'm so grateful for having been a part of that. I'm certain that the Spirit of God was strengthened and spread through these efforts and I look forward to what comes next as across Europe, we work together to Gather Israel in these last days.

It's been a long time since I've been to a convention and I've never been to Ireland! When I read that we would be supporting a church there and would be a relatively small group, it motivated me even more. To be honest, my focus wasn't on getting to know as many people as possible. After busy months in my personal life, I was mostly looking forward to a change of scenery. The focus of the conference was finding ourselves in service, and by that I mean primarily ourselves. I liked that. I don't like these clusters of seemingly frustrated single adults whose activities are just about themselves. This conference seemed refreshingly different. In the short time we spent wonderful moments working with the missionaries, working for our ancestors, working in nature... I felt we could be ourselves because outward appearances were pushed into the background. I would not have expected this. Nor that I met so many dear people who served ME. All of this moved my heart lastingly. I am so grateful to feel Christ so close through this and to be able to experience and learn His love more.

The Convention was the Spiritual Boost I needed to begin again after Covid. I truly felt I was on the Lords Errand to help find his lost children. It also gave me the urge to serve in the temple again so I listened to the Lord and I got my Invitation last Sunday to have a meeting with the Temple Presidency in Preston to discuss becoming an ordinance worker again to prepare me for when we have our Temple here in Ireland. The Convention changed my Life in ways I had not even though about. Feeling Blessed. 🙏☘️

This convention inspired me again to do service by relying on the Holy Ghost for guidance. I felt the love of Heavenly Father for me and the people I served. The group of singles serving is the most bound together in purpose and love (regardless of age, origin or outward appearance) I have ever experienced in a singles convention. The convention strenghtend my testimony of personal revelation, Heavenly Fathers Plan and his working through miracles and deepend my dedication to the Lord.
